In the US our sockets have 1/4, 3/8, 1/2, and 3/4" drive tools...

...what sizes are the drive tools in metric countries?

I've wondered this myself... I don't have anything constructive to add, I just wanted to comment to track the page in case someone knowledgable in such things has an answer...

Metric sockets still use imperial drive tools. It's weird.

I have 10mm sockets in 1/4", etc. Etc. Dont you have metric sockets in 'Murica???

We have metric sockets but they use imperial drive tools. So we would have a 13mm socket but that would go on a 3/8" drive ratchet.

Am I reading your comment right, it sounds like you also use imperial drive tools?

IIRC 1/4, 3/8, 1/2, 3/4 ETC is a defacto standard except Russia but I have never seen proof if Russian/soviet ratchets are metric.

yes. Canada can into metric, but cannot into metric drive fitments. Not sure about the rest of the world.
